Maratua Dive Resort
A small dive resort on the north-western coast of Maratua Island, sitting directly above its own house reef. Quiet, uncrowded, and built for people who are here to dive.

The Resort
A dedicated dive base on Maratua Island
Set on 7,000 m2 of the north-western coast of Maratua Island, the resort sits directly above its own house reef. A 120-metre jetty puts you steps from your dive boat. The location is quiet, the evenings are cool, and the sunsets face west.
Our team is entirely local, with divemasters who have spent years on these specific reefs and know the tides, currents, and conditions at every site in the archipelago. Meet the team.
- House Reef: The resort sits directly above Fantasy Wall, one of Maratua’s established dive sites. Entry is directly off the jetty, with no boat required.
- Western Sunsets: After a full day of diving, the resort’s western-facing position delivers unobstructed sunsets over the sea every evening.
- Quiet and Secluded: Tucked into a forested stretch of the north-western coast, the resort sees no passing crowds. Evenings here are genuinely still.

Resort Facilities
The 120-metre jetty is the operational spine of the resort, extending directly over the house reef and giving you immediate access to the boats and the water.

Dive Centre
The dive centre sits on the right side of the jetty, built around one principle: your gear is ready, protected, and dry at all times.
- Large gear storage room for tanks and equipment
- Dedicated camera room with rinse facilities
- Large rinsing deck with 3 freshwater showers
- Clean water soak tank for wetsuits, BCDs, regulators, and dive computers
- Sunny drying area for wetsuits and exposure suits

Overwater Dining
The dining area sits on the left side of the jetty, directly over the water. Meals are prepared by our local kitchen team, drawing from Indonesian and broader Asian cuisines.

Connectivity & Power
- Starlink Internet: Complimentary satellite internet throughout your stay.
- Generator Backup: A standby generator ensures uninterrupted power during outages, which can occur on the island from time to time.
Cliffside Accommodations
Six chalets are built directly into the limestone karst cliffside, each with an elevated view of the sea and a large private veranda.

- Limestone Karst Setting: The chalets are built directly into the cliff face, with the island’s natural rock and forest as the backdrop.
- Elevated Sea Views: Each chalet looks out over the sea from an elevated position above the jetty, with unobstructed sightlines to the horizon.
- Private Veranda: Each chalet has a large private veranda and a spacious bathroom. A good place to be between dives.
